Pollock, LA – A teenager from Grant Parish died after the truck in which they were traveling collided with a car on US 165 in Pollock, reports KALB.
The accident happened around 8:45PM when a truck carrying seven juveniles drove through a stop sign at the junction of LA-3130 and hit a vehicle that was traveling north on US 165.
Two of the juveniles were thrown from the truck when it flipped over after the collision, and one truck passenger died at the scene. Another of the teens was injured very seriously, and all of the survivors from the truck were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The other driver was also taken to the hospital, as were the three passengers of that vehicle. They are being treated for moderate injuries.
Louisiana State Police continue to investigate this deadly incident.
