MARRERO, LA – A 65-year-old driver died, and three other people went to the hospital after two vehicles collided in Jefferson Parish on Sunday night, reports WDSU 6.  Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ames Boulevard and Trinity Drive, which is near Pard Park. The initial investigation suggests that a southbound pickup truck veered into a northbound lane and crashed into a car. The driver of the car died at the scene of the accident. KENNER, LA – One person sustained minor injuries on Monday in a four-vehicle crash involving a school bus along the interstate in Kenner, reports WGNO News. The incident happened Monday morning on I-10. The exact location of the crash is unclear at this time. Police say the bus was not carrying passengers at the time of the crash. MARRERO, LA – A 52-year-old man died on Sunday night when his vehicle crashed along a highway in Marrero, reports WGNO abc News. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 90 Business, or Westbank Expressway, near Urbandale Street. A preliminary investigation suggests that a westbound 2006 Buick Lucerne veered from the roadway and crashed into a tree. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities identified him as Don Lewis from Avondale.
