Single-vehicle crash in Beauregard Parish kills 1

Beauregard Parish, LA – A 19-year-old passenger died Sunday in a single-vehicle car accident that happened at an intersection just east of Dequincy, reports KPLC 7 News. Police say the incident happened around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Camp Edgewood Road and Pilgrim Rest Road. The preliminary investigation suggests that an eastbound 2000 Ford pickup truck veered from the roadway before overcorrecting, returning to the road, and flipping over.
