1 killed, 5 injured in 2-vehicle Bogalusa crash on LA-21

BOGALUSA, LA – A 35-year-old man died, and five others were hurt when two vehicles collided head-on along a highway in north Washington Parish last Saturday. CBS 42 reports that the incident happened just after 10:45 p.m. on July 30th on the southbound side of LA-21 near Little Southern Village Road. Police say a man drove his Toyota Tundra north in a southbound lane of LA-21 and crashed into a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee with five occupants. Woman, Child Dead in Rollover Crash on LA-440

MOUNT HERMON, LA – A 16-year-old child named Jaquan Brown was killed, and three other children were seriously injured in rollover crash on LA-440 Saturday night, Fox 8 reports. The accident happened just after 11 p.m. when 31-year-old Pamela Brown lost control of her 2013 Hyundai Elantra while driving west on LA-440 in Washington Parish. Police believe Brown was likely driving while impaired. The car was carrying a total of four children when it veered off the road close to LA-450, overturned, and collided with two trees.
