GOLDONNA, LA – A 55-year-old man died on Wednesday from injuries sustained in a rollover accident that happened Monday on a street in Goldonna, KTBS 3 reports.
Police say the incident happened just after 5 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Goodwill Street when a southbound 1991 Toyota pickup truck ran off of the road and flipped.
Medics worked to extract the driver from the vehicle, at which point he was airlifted to Rapides Regional Medical Center, where he died two days later.
Authorities identified the victim as Clyde Harris Carter. They say that Carter was the only occupant in the Toyota at the time of the crash.
It is unclear at this time what caused Carter to veer from the roadway. The incident remains under investigation.
