Narrative
SHREVEPORT, LA – Emergency teams responded to a major crash with ejection along a busy roadway in southwest Shreveport on Monday night.
The incident occurred at 8:20 p.m. along the Inner Loop Expressway between West 70th Street and Walker Road, which is just south of Shreveport Regional Airport.
At this time, police have not specified they cause of the accident, which they say involved a black SUV. The collision threw three people from the vehicle. At least one of the victims sustained serious injuries. It’s unclear if the other two required hospitalization.
Officials closed Inner Loop Expressway in the area of the crash while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the wreckage.
A full investigation is underway.
