Narrative
CENTRAL, LA – A wrong-way collision along Magnolia Bridge Road killed three people and injured two others in the northeast suburbs of Baton Rouge on Tuesday.
The incident happened just after 4 p.m. between Old Wax Road and Greenwell Springs Road, which is in the town of Central.
Police say that a vehicle overturned after a head-on collision, trapping two people inside.
It’s not clear which vehicle caused the accident, but police say three people died. They’ve not yet released the names of the victims.
Medics transported two people to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
