Narrative
LIVINGSTON, LA – A 42-year-old motorcyclist died Sunday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway in Livingston.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m. on LA-63 at Grand Lake Boulevard. This is about 30 miles east of Baton Rouge.
Police say that a southbound motorcyclist was speeding when he collided with a northbound 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. The driver of the latter vehicle was making a left turn onto Grand Lake when the crash occurred.
The biker, identified as Billy Ray Collins of Hammond, died at the scene of the accident.
The other driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
