Narrative

NEW ORLEANS, LA – According to WDSU News, one person was killed and another two people were injured in a crash in New Orleans on Tuesday.

The crash was reported around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Airline Highway and Monroe Street. Authorities say three vehicles were involved in the accident. A driver of a Toyota Camry was heading east on Airline Highway when they reportedly drifted across the center line and into oncoming traffic, hitting a westbound vehicle head-on. That car was then struck from behind by another westbound vehicle.

All three drivers involved in the accident sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the Toyota was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two drivers are currently in stable condition.
