MANDEVILLE, LA – According to MDSU News, one person was killed in a head-on crash that took place on Highway 190 in Mandeville on Saturday night.
Authorities say the accident took place shortly after 9:00 p.m. near Florida Street. 52-year-old Barry Labourdette was a passenger in a Ford Edge that was traveling eastbound on Highway 190 when the vehicle, for unknown reasons, crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck an westbound Lexus SUV head-on.
Every occupant between the two vehicles sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Labourdette was later pronounced dead.
